After 7 years of negotiations, the Trans Pacific Partnership, a trade agreement among entered into by twelve Pacific Rim countries, was finally concluded. The countries involved represent 40% of the world’s GDP and 25% of world trade. International trade specialist and macro economist Professor Reto Foellmi gives his views on the significance of this agreement.
