Diverse options After graduating with a bachelor's degree and completing the first stage of an academic education, the world is now open to the graduates, said Prof. Dr. Peter Leibfried, Prorector of Studies & Teaching at the HSG, in his address. "You can seek your fortune in the front yard of eastern Switzerland as well as from far away." From trainee programs at large companies to career entry at a startup or SME, a master's degree at an international university or at your alma mater, or a personal journey of experience – graduates could choose from a variety of options for the next step in life, Peter Leibfried continued. Vice President Prof. Dr. Peter Leibfried "...it comes differently anyway" In his speech, the Prorector concluded by giving the graduates five thoughts to take with them. First, "Find your own way". Second, "Be prepared that there will be failures. You can start over more than once." Third, "The bachelor's degree in itself was not the goal. It's the ticket to the next round." Fourth, "Be critical, trust yourself to have your own opinion." And Professor Peter Leibfried's fifth and final tip was, "Don't plan so much, things will turn out differently anyway. But make an effort!"
