Management Innovation Management Innovation requires an entrepreneurially managed lab that serves as a development platform for such innovation to unfold. Here, entrepreneurs and scientists work together on the future of management in a variety of cooperation formats (Lab Formats) – in the form of exemplary case studies, strategic discussions with experts, pragmatic model building, entrepreneurial experiments, and fundamental reflections. Each format offers a specific possibility to promote management innovation within the organization. The RISE Management Innovation Lab acts in a focused repertoire of cooperation formats in which entrepreneurs and scientists are engaged as research partners and develop their own optimal form of partnership. RISE Lab Programs are organization-specific formats for the development of future executive management communities. In regular RISE Lab Workshops with organization partners, entrepreneurial experience and current research results are explored in-depth on the basis of exemplary case studies. In RISE Lab Studies, we develop with our partners new management knowledge in longitudinal, sometimes ethnographic, methodologies, particularly case studies, that we introduce into the international management discussion with publications and presentations. In HSG Seminars, we introduce students at the University of St.Gallen and international universities to our content agenda, our perspectives, and our research methods, with the assistance of entrepreneurs and executives of selected partner organizations as faculty.
